All files and folders structure are stored in the database, and are accessible according to a per user entitlement mechanism.
Each file can be downloaded, checked-out, checked back in depending on the authenticated user rights.
The scripts are all in pure php -no javascript-, and have been tested on Linux and Windows 2K.
The project should work on any platform running php, even with file writting restrictions, as the server side file system is actually left untouched.
It can be seen as a simple online file sharing tool where files can be checked-out according to basic entitlement policies.
